As Italy prepares to scale up its variable renewable energy capacity to modernize and electrify its national grid, to meet demand and comply with European carbon neutrality initiatives, Italia wind-sourced energy is expected to grow by 100% by 2030. Projects with high investment return potential are emerging. GammaOne is currently active on four sites representing both photovoltaics and wind turbines.
GammaOne’s wind projects are strategically positioned along one of Italy’s main wind corridors beween the cities of Naples and Bari. Our projects are nearing RTB with existing grid connection agreements and an 18-24 month completion window.
At Greci and Vallesaccarda, we are in the late development stages of 9 wind turbines with grid connection and land agreements. We are working with a dynamic and highly efficient Italian operational team.
Serbia’s domestic consumption has maintained an annual growth of 3%. Serbia is predominantly invested in hydo and wind projects with photovoltaics just now at the point of scaled market entry. Serbia’s grid connection permits are limited in number and governed by Energy Management System (EMS) regulations. GammaOne is developing projects at six different sites three of which are without land. These projects represent 50 hectares of land.
GammaOne develops large scale utility solar projects, each with upwards of 50MW and existing grid connection agreements. Approximate time to RTB is one year. A dedicated local partner is on the ground to ensure quality and efficiency.
The war raging in the Ukraine has completely halted energy development projects and gravely damaged existing energetic infrastructure in devastated zones. Ironically, the risks associated with the instability have created considerable opportunity that will naturally translate to growth potential when Ukraine rebuilds energetic infrastructure. The need in Ukraine is vast and the expected flood of foreign investment will be to measure.
With its experience operating in conflict zones, GammaOne is developing a number of select projects in the Ukraine benefitting from early entry opportunity with its unique projection formula. We execute planning and project setup stages at minimal investment with optimally negotiated returns on project completion. Project development will commence in the immediate aftermath of the war with completion of the financing.
Among our projects, a wind farm representing 320 megawatts near the Polish border and adjacent to a high voltage conduit to Europe facilitating the sale of generated electricity.
